I requested a balance transfer from my Advanta acct in the amount of $1,000.00. The money was transferred to someone elses account at Discover. I have made numerous phone calls never getting a straight answer. Their call center is in India!!! I have also sent a certified letter to their location in Draper with no response to date. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to get this straightened out? Or am I in the hole $1,000.00 and someone else got a gift?

Advanta Bank Corp is perhaps the worst, they are the ruin of many small businesses. Their credit card rates start low and within a few months, they go to 37.81%. You cannot speak to anyone in the USA, yes - no problem with India as a call center. They are not willing at all to work with anyone and even if you have never been late on a payment, they will up the rates w/out notice. Stay away, wish them to the field ! Wish them to sink like all other Banks and wish them NO BAIL OUT. A very disgusted card member. Misty

the customer service is poor, if you have problems ask for a supervisor amd they are very knowledgeable
